I walk alone, to places unknown,

Through the sands of time, with no penny or dime.

It's raining sugar candies, is what he once said,

But all we get is a loaf of rotten bread.

Hunger or thirst its a definite fight,

For a stone cold bed at the dead of the night.

Brightly shinning was a dimming light,

A hope we thought, but to our plight,

A treacherous yet chivalrous pair,

With an oh so threatening glare.

Who laughed on our misery,

Just like he spat on their grief.

A world so full of dreadful elf,

Hatred, mistrust and death itself.

Where Satan ruled and the Gods hard to find.

But he loved it anyway, after all it was his kind.

And so the brightly shinning of the light,

was nothing but a curse, our very own birth right.

Oh! The dreams of castles that shine,

And one day, I make promise, Oh thee!

One day, It'll all be mine!

Had life been much more than a dimming light,

just another dimming light!

For I wouldn't say, there were no ups no downs,

No fracas, flareups or frowns,

It was a journey destined to be,

carried out by the utmost sincerity.

Together they'd laugh, together they'd cry,

like billions of roses, they'd bloomed in the time gone by.

For one was fire, the other ice,

They'd both win the stubbornness prize.

For marriage was a language, not just a vow,

I say they'd mastered it, and you shall take a bow.

They'd merrily sing, shout and sneeze,

They'd be my Tom & Jerry I tease!

I miss you dear one, you were my only,

Now I have a tainted soul, I'm all dark, black and lonely.

All those lies, lie deep within me,

It is as if we were cursed, something I didn't foresee.

It seems like forever, having heard your heartbeat,

Oh the kiss, so heavenly yet ghastly.

It hurts to know, you weren't all that into me,

while I was like a baby, headfirst into the deep blue sea.

Some may call it love, tenderness, intimacy,

But for me, it was plain magic, incantation, sorcery.

Close your eyes pretty one, and tell me what you see,

cause all I can see, is that we were never meant to be.

I felt stuck in your web of lies, not that easy to break through,

even though I managed, it's probably whats best, even for you.

I don't believe in love, I trust no guy no more,

It's not your fault baby, its just a tender heart gone sore.

Every time you'd lie, I'd look you in the eye,

as empty as ever it made me cry.

I'd see no love, no regret, no guilt whatsoever,

I guess that was it, it made me hate you forever.

It was my blues, the blacks, the reds, the green,

you turned to white, light and obscene.

I hate you for what you've done, I may never forgive you,

But my soul, that sly little thing,

no matter what, I still can't stop loving you.
